Hi!
My name is Jana Kießer, I live and work as a photographer and artist in Berlin.
From 2015 to 2018 I studied at Ostkreuzschool for Photography in Berlin from which
I graduated in 2018 with the series "das bleibt unter uns" (this remains between us).
Currently I am studying Art in Context at the University of the Arts Berlin.
In my multimedia works I deal with feminist issues such as abuse of power and sexism.
A recurring motif in my works are plants, which appear as mediators of feelings and states of being.
In participatory and collaborative projects I explore social interactions and socio-political issues.
